Family Service’s Youth Development programs help young people achieve their full potential by helping them harness their inherent strengths and abilities.  Every young person, regardless of their circumstances or history, has tremendous potential to achieve great things.  Some kids need more guidance and help to uncover their potential.  That is what Family Service’s youth programs are designed to do.

Our current youth development programs, in addition to mentoring programs include:

• Project Venture – Project Venture uses experiential education and adventure-based challenges to help young people go out of their comfort zones and achieve personal goals.
• Sibs Program – Sibs is a program for teens in Lawrence that helps them break the cycle of teen pregnancy through individual case management and group programming.
