Many of the men Family Service has worked with in couples and individual programming have expressed an interest in learning more about become a better father. The “Siempre Papa” curriculum is based in five characteristic that represents the qualities and practices of a loving and dedicated father:
- self conscious
- self image and care
- skills as a dad
- skills of raising a child
- relationship skills
Through the curriculum, men learn about the true meaning of masculinity, effective ways to truly be a provider, recognize and manage societal and cultural expectations, how to understand and express emotions, positive discipline techniques, and handling stress.
